Zine Making Workshop

Join BCA and artist/bookmaker Sam Stokes, in collaboration with the Berwick Literary Festival, for a creative and fun zine making workshop. Zines are self-published books or pamphlets, normally printed in editions of 500 or less, often by artists and art collectives, but they can serve any purpose.

In this workshop participants will use found imagery, such as rubber stamps and collage, a range of specialist bookbinding equipment and some basic bookbinding techniques utilising household materials, to create an edition of collaborative zines.
At the end of the workshop participants will leave with a copy of their handmade zine.

Parking

If you are planning to drive to one of our workshops please note that for the majority of parking in Berwick you will need to purchase a parking disc (£1) and that parking restrictions apply for nearly all parking in Berwick (parking discs are not required in long stay car parks).

If you have booked onto a workshop of 3 hours or more, on any day other than a Sunday, you will need to park in one of the long stay car parks (see image).
