Discover what works for you and how you might begin to introduce, develop and deepen a regular mindfulness-movement practice into your everyday life.  Leave this unique workshop feeling relaxed and free in your movement, less stressed, and more connected to yourself and others.

Introduction to Feldenkrais: Discover the magic of the Feldenkrais Method in this relaxed and fun session. You will be guided through different sequences of slow, gentle movements, using simple, easy-to-follow instructions. Together, we will explore how slowing down and bringing your awareness to physical sensations can enable you to move, breathe, and live your life more fully and with greater ease. We invite you to join us if you are curious about how the Feldenkrais Method can help you reduce pain, fatigue, and stress; change unhelpful habits; and cultivate deep self-awareness. We will introduce you to some of the key concepts of this ground-breaking method, and allow you to experience for yourself how mindful movement explorations can facilitate a transformative journey of self-discovery, and encourage internal resilience, balance, clarity, & strength.

Everyone is welcome: all sessions are accessible for complete beginners, as well as those with more experience. Please wear comfortable clothes that don’t restrict your movement and bring layers you can add for warmth.

Interested in joining but not sure that it’s right for you?
Many people have fears that their fitness levels, personal physical challenges, body shape, age, or other factors may mean they will not be able to partake in a workshop, or would not be welcome there. We believe mindfulness and movement is for everyone – and we mean, everyone – and aim to make our spaces as accessible and inclusive as possible. Our teachers are specialists in working with a wide range of people, adapting their teaching to your needs. If you have any questions, anxieties, or fears about participating please contact us and we will happily talk through your personal circumstances and make sure the workshop is accessible for you.
